The Company

History

The original business of AMT Futures Limited (AMTF) can be traced back to 1890 when it was founded as a commodity brokerage partnership. In the 1930’s, then a company, it became a member of the UK’s leading commodity exchanges which continued on the reopening of the London commodity markets in the 1950’s.

The business was acquired from private ownership by the AMC Group in October 1989 and absorbed into the Group’s trading division.
